Technical acting = a dramatic technique in which actors identify as closely as possible with the character played by correlating experiences from their personal lives to the character
Method acting = an acting technique introduced by Stanislavsky in which the actor recalls emotions or reactions from his orher own life and uses them to identify with the character being portrayed
Mise en scene = the arrangement of scenery and stage properties in a play.
Production design = is the process of creating a new product to be sold by a business to its customers. A very broad concept, it is essentially the efficient and effective generation and development of ideas through a process that leads to new products.
There have been many movies that take my breath away but I can only think of a few like titanic where Leonardo died and the emotion on roses face was difficult to watch, hunger games where the little girl gets shot and Katnis makes her a bed of flowers to show respect, and avatar where she shows him this tree that connects them to the land. These we're moving because of the music and the emotion that was shown on the faces of each character with their actions. These scenes have been able to take my breath away with just the intense music and pure emotion written on their faces.
I like black and white films because it allows more shadowing and are usually more suspenseful. Black and white films are usually old because they didn't always have color which allows us to see how film started which is always fun to see how it has evolved over the years. I like to see black and white films sometimes so that I can compare and contrast to the films I have been watching lately. I also like how many of the films that are black and white use blinds in their shots because it can allow mystery of what's going on in the situation.
Books are usually a detailed story with the feelings of all the characters and detailed characteristics of how they look. A lot of books have a great story line because of the details that come with it. In movies they are just summaries of the real story that is why when you see a movie based on a book it is rarely ever exactly like the book because there is usually a time limit that the directors have to meet anyway. Although the movies are easier because it takes less time it does not do as we'll of a job on details as the book because the author of the book made that book what it is and everything that is in the book. When a movie includes scenes that are supposed to be similar to a book it is never the same because in the movie they may just flash a camera on it but in the book it could be a few pages long and unless we had read the book we would never really know. These are some reasons what a book can do that a movie can
